There are so many blogging applications out there, but the one we use in CWS Blogger. It is actually the easiest and most user friendly in my opinion. Blogging is an excellent tool for communication because it reaches the real life audience as well. Today I’m going to show you how to create your very own blog using google’s blogger.
What type of blog do you want to have? When you create a blog, have a plan for it. You can blog fashion, your personal second life, and in this case your journey as a CWS student is what this blog should start off being.
There are lot of options, and an added bonus is blogging can earn you money. It may not be much money, but a little money in your pocket is way better than none ;)
If your blog gets lot of hits, it's popular and when it's popular, many companys may ask you to post about their new items. Lot's of designers within SL are always looking for bloggers, but the competition may be fierce, so you want to make your blog as attractive and as popular as you can.
Have fun with your blog when you have some free time. It's a part of you, and YOU are unique! In addition, blogs also have the potential to reach a real life audience, meaning people that may not even know what Second Life is. Your can share your style,make style cards,share your SL etc.
Ok so let's begin!

1. Please click "Get Started" (orange button)
2. Fill in your information.

Your creating YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT and once you are done click "I accept the Terms of Service", and hit continue.
3. "Name Your Blog"
It should be not very long, so people can remember it and you can have more hits. You can name it however you want though. Make the name relevant to what you will be posting about. It's a nice touch and that way you can grab your reader's interest right away with your title and make them want to read it.
4. *Posting*
Click the "Posting" tab.
For the title write "CWS & the blog creating class"
Under the title is the place where you write your post. There are also options like adding photos,videos,links etc. .
The tools are on tab above post space and under title space.
To add a photo click "add image" and you should have new window.
To add your photo,choose button from left upper tab and when you choose your picture make sure it is a big format because with small formats you can't see detail.
Once you find the picture you want click "upload image" and you will see your photo.
Make sure you upload your photo first because if you upload it after writing your post, it will break your order, but don't worry, you can fix it by moving your photo and deleting spaces.
Ok,if everything's done,please click on: "Publish Post"
To see your post, click on "View Post"
4. "Choosing Template"
Choose whichever template you like. You can change it as many times as you like, and there are also lots of free templates online to choose from in case you want to switch it up, or if you are good with photoshop or gimp, you can make your own.
5. Second and very important thing is logo,layout and style of Your blog.
To change colors,font and logo,just under logo sign is tab Your e-mail "new post,customize...".
Ok,please click on customize.
Ok, we will set Your logo now,please click on "Edit" near logo sign.
Should appear new window.
You can put Your sign there,but also add an image.
To add an image, just choose sort out and choose Your image from computer,if it's done,please click "Save".
Well done! We created Your logo!
Now - time for font and color.
Can You see tab "Page Elements,Fonts & Colors...",it's in left upper corner.
Please choose "Fonts & Colors".
It's time to create Your blog's style.
It is Your choice,so I won't tell You which colors choose.
Just to change them You shall click for example: "Page Background Color" and choose Your color from color tab.
Please make the same thing with all the sectors,to make it look as beautiful,as it can be :)
Also,If You will change Your mind about template, You can add new one in tab near "Font and Colors",it's tab "Pick new Template".
If You will choose new one,You can see it by clicking "Preview Template"
if You will like it, You shall click "Save" button.
There we go :)
"First Post"
Ok it's time for your first post! You will title your first post "
You shall put a tittle for Your post,
under "tittle",You can see white space,there You write Your post.
There are also options like adding photos,videos,links and not only.
The tools are on tab above post space and under tittle space.
To add a photo You shall click "add image"
You should have new window.
To add ur photo,choose button from left upper tab and choose Your photo. Make sure it has big format,because with small You can't see elements if It's style blog.
If photo (or photos) is choosen,pls click "upload image"
Here You can see Your photo.
Make sure You firstly upload Your photo,because if You will upload it after writing Your post,it will break Your order, but no worry,You can fix it by moving Your photo and deleting spaces.
Ok,if everything's done,please click on: "Publish Post"
